About the Role
Our multidisciplinary growing team is looking to welcome an Electrical Engineer to assist in design, fabrication, and prototyping of hardware for the Influit's fundamental technology. If you enjoy working with others to design and build creative solutions to a variety of challenging problems, this role is for you! This is a great opportunity to solve a wide array of technical challenges with a large cross section of the Influit Energy team.
Requirements
Responsibilities include:
Design, build, and qualify new electrical components, automation systems, and test platforms across technical teams
Develop functional requirements in close collaboration with members of other technology development teams
Own an iterative design process, confirming that electrical requirements are met
Perform hands-on prototyping of your designs
Collaborate with testing teams to define and execute validation plans
Support the analysis of test data to enable data-based decision making
Produce engineering documents such as SOPs, schematics, and supporting design justification
Champion for safety, especially in the development of new laboratory processes or experiments
Education:
Completed undergraduate or graduate degree in electrical engineering.
Skills:
0-1 years of electrical design experience
Experience in schematic capture and PCB design
Prototyping, soldering, and other relevant hands-on experience
Experience in data processing, plotting and interpretation and preparation of reports
Ability to follow established record keeping and safety procedures
Independent worker able to carry out assigned responsibilities
Ability to collaborate and achieve the goals for the company
Strong work ethics and problem solving skills.
